High and drunk on Trump

For the love of Trump, why is it so hard for so many Americans to understand why so many other  Americans follow Trump? Millions of Americans are in pain.  Trump is their pain-killer.  Some are hooked on Trump.

Donald J. Trump is as popular as ever among his cult.  Opponents cannot understand how the clown is so popular in his cult circus.  Trump is the messiah of his cult just like Putin is the savior of his.  

Liberal authorities get frustrated and try to crucify Trump, which makes him even more popular martyr of his cult. Trump wants to Make America White Again just like Putin wants to make Russia soviet again.  

It is very easy to understand the cult of Trump if you get to understand the true nature of human monkey life.  We are a sophisticated species, but animals nonetheless.  Look how Will Smith went reptilian in a second to slap Chris Rock like a wild primate.  We are story telling primates.  We get lost and confused in our own stories. 

Hint: Trump's popularity has nothing to do with the truth, or with good vs. evil.  Trump's popularity is all about pain and pleasure. Trump's popularity is about the pain/pleasure of whiteness.  

Whiteness is the cult of anglo saxon and northwestern European values. Whiteness is the belief (conscious and unconscious) that everything anglo and/or northwestern European is "great" and objectively superior to anything else.  Whiteness is not the same as racism, but is very close to it.  

Racism is an outdated socio economic system based on the social construct of race.  Racism is a type of communism based on the concept of race.  Communism assigns socio economic privilege based on political affiliation.  Racism assigns social and economic privilege based on "racial" affiliation.  

Historic racism explains the economic disparities between "whites" and non-whites per capita in the United States.  The simple reason is that money is mostly credit.  For centuries non-whites were denied credit or received less credit opportunities than whites.  The discrepancies remain evident to these days.  All these economic concepts will be explored in future posts.  For now, let's go back to the race.    

There is only one race (the human race).   

The so-called "racial" characteristics of humans are ancestral biological adaptations to the different environments around the world.  Humans are primates that migrated on foot out of Africa, and eventually conquered the world.  Along the way, and over time, humans developed different physical characteristics and cultural beliefs.  The most fundamental environmental variable leading to the different "races" around the world is ultraviolet (UV) radiation.  

Different levels of ultraviolet (UV) radiation in different locations led to different adaptations of skin pigmentation and hair texture.  In addition to UV radiation, climatological and topographical differences led to other adaptations.  Different air characteristics (e.g. moisture levels) led to different nose shapes and sizes to inhale oxygen.  Different light reflections in snowy Asian mountains led to a clever adaptations such as the epicanthic fold to see better in the snow.  

Regarding culture, different circumstances and historical events in different locations led to different human stories and beliefs.  The human race developed different physical characteristics and different mental programming (i.e. culture).

Racism is a derivative of war and colonization.

Wars between different human tribes led to some groups defeating and conquering others.  Winners imposed their physical characteristics and cultural beliefs as the "good" ones, and characterized rival ones as the "bad".

These "good" and "bad" labels kept changing throughout human history as some groups came into and out of power.  For example, Romans and Greeks during the Roman Empire saw pale skin / blonde haired people as nordic savages and barbarians who could be purchased and sold into slavery.  Slavic people were hunted and traded into slavery routinely.  That's why the word slave derives from slavic.  Russia, for example, was founded in modern-day Ukraine by Viking slave traders who settled down around Kiev to trade furs and slavic slaves.  

The northwestern Germanic "savages" and "barbarians" eventually invaded and toppled the Roman empire.  Gradually, the physical characteristics and cultural beliefs of the pale and blonde "savages" became the "good" in Europe.  Europeans later conquered the Americas, Africa, and other parts of the world, importing by force their labels about what is "good" and what is "bad".

Specifically in the context of anglos and the saxons, these were Germanic tribes that migrated into England.  That's why the English language can be considered a Germanic dialect with a Latin mix.  The Roman Empire conquered England at some point in time and Latin influenced English.  Eventually, the anglos or English speaking people conquered the world.  

The most important English conquest was North America where English settlers founded the 13 colonies that eventually matured into the United States of America.  Later, with the machines of the industrial revolution, English speaking people conquered the world economically and culturally.  The English or anglo power was cemented after the victory in World Wars II in the 1940s, and after the collapse of the Soviet Union in the 1990s.  The internet technological revolution of the late 1990s and 2000s kept cementing the anglo dominance in the world.  

The pain of Whiteness

All wins come at the cost of losses for the other side.  The "greatness" of the European conquests came at the cost of those conquered and colonized.  Europeans exploited Africa and the Americas to get to where they are today in geopolitical status.  Europe's wealth and superiority were built on the backs of those made poor and inferior by European colonization.  

The same applied in the United States to a large extent.  The 13 colonies and the United States of America were founded on a combination of honorable principles plus evil ones like genocide and slavery.  The indigenous populations were exterminated.  That's how the west was won.  Africans were enslaved for free labor.   That's how the country funded its startup.

Many Americans find it painful to reconcile the stories of greatness in old history textbooks with the realities of revisited lines pointing to colonization and human exploitation.  It's time to grow up and be adults about our mixed case history.  

We can embrace the truth of our past, admitting and realizing that nothing human is ever perfect.  Nothing is "great" in absolute terms without important historical caveats.  However, instead of facing the truth, many prefer to escape to the comforts of half truths and white lies.     

Like most other nations, the United States of America was founded on the back of genocide and racism.  

History is an account of the past.  Inevitably, when viewed from the future and with modern eyes, human history always look archaic and barbaric.  We are still primitive and barbaric today.  Imagine centuries ago.  See the Russian genocide in Ukraine today.  Imagine what humans of the past were capable of doing and justifying for the greed of colonial expansion.

Our beloved country, just like any other in the world, has a primitive and barbaric past.  Indigenous populations were wiped out as pests.  Africans were brought up in chains.  Today, we recognize the shortfalls of the past and work hard on creating a better future for all.  We keep improving our Nation to keep it as a beacon of liberty and justice for all. 

We should give credit to our Founding Fathers and all past citizens who did what they thought was the right thing.  The battle for progress and equity continues to this day.  We must learn from the past, enjoy the present, and build a better future.  

Politicians exploit fear and greed.  

Politics is the art and science of exerting power over people.  To exert power over people you have to motivate them to take action and vote for you.  The two motivators of human action are fear and greed.  Politicians are masters of exploiting the fear and greed of their constituents.  

Fear brings pain.  When people are in pain, they look for a fix that can alleviate the pain.  Greed bring desire.  When people are greedy, the look for a fixer that can facilitate pleasure.  

Trump is a master at instigating pain and promising pleasure.  Trump is a master at making his constituents afraid about the cultural shift away from whiteness.  Trump is a master at promising constituents the pleasure of resurrecting whiteness.

Make America Great Again (MAGA) is a code for Make America White Again (MAWA).  Save America is code for Save Whiteness.

The "racial" minorities in our country have taken proverbial slaps in the face throughout our history just like Chris Brown in the Oscars.  Yet, minorities are flourishing and our Nation is becoming better because of it.  A diverse, equitable, and inclusive America is the only America than can defeat the "Chrink" coalition.  [China, Russia, Iran, North Korea = Chrink, a TakeSlap original as far as we know].  We will explain that strategic advantage in future posts.

Change is a constant in this universe.  Social change is a constant in our world.  Change can be painful for those perceiving adverse consequences coming from change.  Believers in whiteness, which can be of any race, are afraid about the inevitable end of whiteness.  The fear gives them psychological pain.  To get rid of the pain, they get high and drunk on Trump's lies and promises.   

Some believers in whiteness fear that the end of whiteness will lessen their historical status and reduce their future opportunities.  Depending on how long they have lived in the bubble of whiteness, the more they feel that social change is removing the floor underneath them. 

Living in fear is painful and the brain seeks a pleasant fix.  Clever politicians like Trump weaponize and exploit that fear.  In addition to overeating and drinking, whiteness believers resort to getting high on lies and alternative facts that can ease the pain.  Whiteness believers get high and drunk on Trump.  Not surprisingly, fearful believers of whiteness are the core of Trump's cult, wanting to Make America Racist Again.  

Whiteness believers have been brain washed and weaponized into believe that if the so-called "minorities" progress that will necessarily mean that whiteness believers will regress and suffer.  They are brain washed into seeing reality as a zero sum racial and cultural game.

The end of whiteness is inevitable in the information age.  

Information ends whiteness. Just like education cures ignorance, information cures whiteness. Information and education are bringing whiteness to an end.  Minds trained into critical thinking are awaken or "woke" about the cultural indoctrination bubble.  Whiteness is like living in a simulation where the matrix makes you believe that whites are gods.  Information and education allow people to wake up and see the matrix. 

Again, whiteness is the irrational belief that everything anglo or northwestern European is "great" and always objectively superior to anything else.  When a few people controlled all the information, it was easy to manipulate the masses and keep everyone asleep in the matrix.  No wonder that the far right seeks to lessen education opportunities and increase fake news and misinformation.  That is Putinism 101, and of course Trumpism 101.  Reduce educational opportunities, discredit the press, and spread misinformation.

If you read this article, you may disagree with many of its opinions if not all.  Yet, you cannot unread it now.  You know that you may be living in a whiteness bubble matrix.  You will be curious to wake up.  Others, and the vast majority to whiteness believers and Trump followers will remain in pain, looking for a fix to ease the pain.  Along with getting drunk on Bud Light, they will continue getting drunk and high on Trump.
