A reaction for every action
Life is counterintuitive sometimes. Every action brings a reaction. Sometimes the reactions are stronger than the initial actions. Both Putin and Trump's conservative justices miscalculated the unifying strength that their actions would have on their victims. Instead of advancing their conservative ideals, conservatives are fueling a liberal revival worldwide.
Humans know what they have when they lose it, or when they are about to lose it. Liberals know that conservatives are coming for their individual rights and liberties. Liberals are fired up, standing up to protect individual rights and liberties.
Hindsight is 20 / 20
In hindsight, it is easy to see that both Putin's war in Ukraine and Trump's assault on women and minorities would backfire. Ukraine has hundreds of years as a nation. America has almost 50 years of constitutionally protected abortion rights and civil liberties. Liberals are unified against the common enemy of illiberal conservatism. Progress, like humanity's perception of time itself, is unidirectional. No one is going back in time.
Putin's "special military operation" to fight an imaginary Nazi force will continue failing. The West knows that if Putin gets Ukraine, Putin will continue trying to expand the Russian territory to make Russia "great" again. The West is woke, and woke up to stop Putin's track. It be interesting to see how Putin will try to stick to power. Will he try to go nuclear? Nope. That would spark a Kremlin coup. What will he do? Bring out the popcorn. Invest in defense contractors and bunker builders as a hedge.
The conservative assault on abortion rights will continue failing. America knows that if conservatives take away abortion rights, they will continue trying to take away other civil rights to expand conservatism and make America "great" again. America is woke, and woke up the conservative attack on women and minorities. It will be interesting to watch how events unfold. Bring out the popcorn. Get a passport while you still can. Canada and Costa Rica can be combined well.
Abort the mission
Putin and the conservatives should retreat and regroup. Failure to do so will only make the conservative cause weaker. Regardless of the alluded reasons and religious justifications, their attacks on freedom are backfiring and failing. Putin is making Russia weaker. Trump is making America super liberal.
The future will not be led by those staying behind. You will not find the way forward if you are fixated on the rear view mirror. Religious fairy tales are entertaining and sooth the monkey mind. Yet, they are not substitute for progress and innovation.
Conservatives want to stop progress and go back in it if possible. No wonder they are frustrated full of white rage. There is a better way to live. Read TakeSlap often and you will figure it out on your own. Free your mind.
Liberating the world
Putin and Trump are liberating the world. Their power ambitions remind people of the dangers of autocratic regimes. Putin and Trump have unified a liberal resistance against the chauvinistic lies of conservatism. Smart conservatives in the Kremlin and in Washington, D.C. should retreat and regroup. Their plays are telegraphed. Everyone cam see their regressive agenda.
