Time buy Netflix?

Time to buy Netlix?

We think so and we did. Netflix is down about 70% from its peak. Netflix announced that it lost 200k subscribers last quarter and may lose more this quarter. There are many factors affecting Netflix in the short term. Netflix is spending too much money on productions. The end of COVID has less viewers stuck at home all day. Putin invaded Ukraine and you cannot fight a war and watch Netflix at the same time. Inflation is rampant and people are cutting expenses. Many people share Netflix passwords. There is increasing competition in the streaming industry. A recession is around the corner. Netflix could go belly up, implode, and shut down.

Having said all that, we are willing to risk some dough on the possibility that Netflix can turn the corner and recover some ground in its overall valuation within a year or two. We put some money that we are willing to lose betting on a Netflix come back. We have no clue whether the investment / bet will work or not. We just went for it.  We will revisit this post in about a year to see how things went with Netflix.  In the meantime, we will continue watching its content.

What about you?  What do you think will happen to Netflix? Do you think the company can survive these rough times and reinvent itself?

Christian Abortions

Christian women should vote for Democrats to protect the sacred right to medically sound and compassionately humane abortions in the United States. Guaranteeing access to proper abortions under adequate medical care is not only a human right, but also a Christian obligation. Christian entrepreneurs should also tap into the untouched business opportunity of promoting Christian abortions.  Slap is food for thought. Take more at  TakeSlap.com   Christian faith stands for the belief in a heavenly father who loves his children on Earth. When that heavenly father sends one of his daughters a gift of life, daughters should feel loved and empowered to safely, kindly, and humanely return the gift to the father if desired. The heavenly father is not a monster or or sadistic deity.  The heavenly father will understand and appreciate the safe return of the unborn soul to heaven. The heavenly father will not want his daughter to suffer and will not want the soul to be in the wron...

Pardon seekers will be pardoned

Economic inflation and political deflection are at record highs. The Nation learned today that some Republican / conservative members of Congress proactively sought presidential pardons for their involvement in federal crimes trying to keep Trump in power after the losing the 2020 presidential elections. These politicians will not accept any guilt whatsoever, and will not be abandoned by their core supporters. These pardon seekers will allege that they sought pardons knowing that the evil Democrats would "fabricate" charges against them. Their MAGA supporters will not believe them, of course, but will support them anyways. Many liberals can't understand conservatives, and vice versa. For example, many liberals or progressives have a hard time understanding how conservatives can say that they would vote for Trump even after knowing what Trump did after losing the 2020 presidential elections; or how they can support these pardon seekers. Conservatives, on the other hand, ha...

Chris Rock owns Will Smith for life

Will Smith is now owned by Chris Rock. Chris took the slap, and Will is now his slave.  What a bargain price for such a great prize.  TakeSlap.com is a blog startup about the art of turning every day defeat into all time glory.  It all began on the dawn of Will Smith's epic failure on the what would have otherwise been the most successful evening of his life.  We hope that you like TakeSlap.com and that can use it to your benefit and advantage in life.  In the game of life, sometimes we win and sometimes we lose.  Don't be afraid of playing.  Don't be afraid of losing.  With training, we can learn to turn defeat into glory, and avoid turning glory into defeat.  The choice is ours to make.  While we cannot control major outcomes, we can direct mini processes.  We can stay in the game, improving a little and steadily every day.   We cannot change what things are, but we can change what they mean to us.  In that sense, w...
