Trump supporters are not stupid. Trump is their best chance of getting what they want. Once you know what Trump supporters really want, you understand everything about the supposed "cult" of Trump. To figure out what Trump supporters really want just think about that one thing, that one thing only, and only that one thing, that Trump supporters would not allow him to do. Do you know what that is?

Before we jumping in, think about the current events surrounding Trump. There is probable cause to believe that Trump violated federal laws by stealing Top Secret classified documents from the White House. Imagine the political outrage of the Republicans if Obama had stolen a napkin from the White House. 

Trump Gun

Let's begin with what Trump supporters want. Trump supporters want power, "white" power for that matter. That's all there is to it. That's why Trump supporters allow him to do and say whatever he wants. 

Provided that Trump keeps serving their interests and does not mess with the forbidden fruit, Trump can anything that he wants. Trump can remain above the law. Trump can be king if he wants. Provided that Trump brings them power, he can have everything that he wants except their guns. 

There is only one thing more sacred to Trump supporters than Trump. It is not Jesus or god. Trump supporters are predominantly evangelicals of the American prosperity gospel. However, the only one thing that is more sacred to Trump supporters than Trump is their gun collection. 

Guns are the only toys that Trump cannot play with. Guns are the only thing that Trump supporters would not give up for him. The old man can do whatever he wants with the nuclear codes, but he cannot mess with the guns.

The gun obsession within a particular segment of our population can be easily explained by examining our history. Guns allowed the so-called "white trash" of Europe to colonize this land. Guns allowed ordinary, low class British folks to steal this wonderful land from the Asian tribes that were here before. Guns allowed the beige Europeans to enslave brown Africans for profit.  

Guns are the heart and soul of Trump supporters. Trump supporters are trying to defend and regain what they believe is "their" country. While they were drinking Budweiser and watching WWE, the elite establishment changed the country. 

Many Trump supporters, if not most, did not even vote or care about presidential elections. One day they woke up after a hangover, and saw that a black man had been elected president of the United States. The elites had done it. 

Trump was equally irritated and emotionally devastated of seeing a young black man become president of the United States. The black man had succeeded where Trump had failed. Trump convinced himself that if a young black man could be president, he could become president too. Trump woke up the racists and the rest is history.

Today, Trump can steal Top Secret nuclear documents from the White House, and his supporters will defend him. Trump can orchestrate an armed attack against the U.S. Capitol, and his supporters will defend him. With one exception, Trump can do whatever he wants and his supporters will defend him. The only one exception is trying to take guns away. That is the only one thing that Trump supporters would never tolerate. And the reason is that Trump supporters feel that they need the guns to "take the country back".

Trump supporters are not stupid. Trump supporters are not in a "cult". Trump supporters know full well what they are doing and why. Trump supporters are using and abusing Trump to see if the old man can in fact give them the country "back".
