Coding

Coding has proven essential to human survival and progress because it facilitates data processing, information sharing, and output collaboration. Coding is not only about digital information technology. Analog coding such as human languages preceded digital information technology. Improving your coding skills--analog and/or digital--should prove a rewarding investment move today and in the near future. Word to the wise: continuously improve your coding awareness, knowledge, and skills.

Three skills set humans apart from all other animals: imagination, communication, and collaboration. Imagination allows humans to project images about the world or the "objective" reality out there. Communication allows humans to share these images, or ideas about them, with other humans. Collaboration allows humans to work together towards the achievement of common goals.

Presumably, most other animals also imagine, communicate, and collaborate. However, humans are better at it. The reasons are most likely that humans have a better adapted central processing unit (CPU) or brain, and humans better coding technologies (languages) to facilitate storytelling.

Human languages (e.g. English, Latin, Chinese, etc) are forms of analog coding. Digital coding turns data into digits (ones and zeros) for processing by machines (computer processing). Analog coding turns data into sounds, symbols, or a combination of both for processing by human brains (cognition). Verbal or oral languages turn data into sounds, and sounds into images. Written languages turn symbols into images, or into sounds that are turned into images.

Imagination allows humans to run images and create stories. Analog languages allow humans to share stories from one brain to another. A human cannot physically transmit an image from one brain to another, but by converting it into oral sounds or written symbols that other humans can either hear or read, the humans effectively transfer stories from one brain to another.

Storytelling or idea sharing can bring humans together for collaboration and team work. Generally, collaborative team work exceeds the output of individual work both in quality and quantity thus helping humanity survive and thrive.

Is Putin white?

[This post was updated on May 6, 2020.] Is Putin white?  Conservatives and white supremacists are having a Putin problem these days. The standard convention is that the white race is good unless it is trash or mentally ill. Browns are terrorists, illegal immigrants, or both. Blacks are thugs. Asians are too many. Putin became a war criminal and is turning into Hitler. Conservatives and white supremacists don't know what to do about their secret love for the white boy. Some conservatives are dumb enough to blame Ukraine, or even imply that the war is fake. The only recourse for white supremacists is to expel Putin from the sacred white race. Return to office: a blessing for mediocre employees

Post-COVID Return to Office: meritocracy of mediocrity  The post-COVID Return to Office (RTO) transition brings great employment opportunities for mediocre employees.  Many top performers want to keep the productive freedom discovered during the COVID pandemic.
