Parasite

Many entrepreneurs dream of creating an uber-godly brand that can markup anything to become a global powerhouse conglomerate that can conquer the business world. These entrepreneurs dream of having the Midas touch to convert anything they touch into gold. For these entrepreneurs, we recommend what we call the golden parasite approach (GPA). Tap into an existing popular brand that you really like. Become an expert in the brand. Sell products and services of the brand or related to the brand without breaking licensing and trademark laws. Surf the popularity wave of the selected brand into becoming your own spinoff brand riding your own waves. Enjoy.

Anything is possible. Every business has a shot at flourishing into a global conglomerate. Think about Samsung, which began with a fruit and vegetable kiosk or stand at a local market in Korea. Gradually, Samsung grew into a global conglomerate selling advance technological products and services. A more subtle example can be Apple, which began in computers and stayed in computers, but that has grown into a seemingly unlimited digital ecosystem of related products and services.

The parasite spinoff model.

Here's a model. Imagine for example a YouTube channel that specializes in discussing a certain brand or a specific product line. It can provide reviews, rumors, reports, etc. about the brand and anything related to the brand. It can sell a curated selection of pre-owned products of the brand and third party accessories.

The channel/store can also sell all sort of services related to the featured or honored brand. From events to books about the brand, the possibilities are endless. From selling in-formation about the brandm, or inspired on the brand, the channel/store moves gradually into the "formation" of its own spinoff brand. The spinoff brand sells goods (products and services) related to or inspired by the original brand.

Along the way, this former brand "parasite" becomes a brand name in and of itself. It becomes a global retail network for consumers interested in the original brand plus the original product line developed by the network based on the brand. The network is not only supported by retail consumers, but also by advertisers interested in reaching the consumers interested in that brand and the related product and service line.

This parasite brand or anchored brand based approach has unlimited flourishing potential. The key is to tap into a popular brand to surf its wave onto the creation of your own spinoff wave and brand. Food for thought. What do you think?

Is Putin white?

[This post was updated on May 6, 2020.] Is Putin white?  Conservatives and white supremacists are having a Putin problem these days. The standard convention is that the white race is good unless it is trash or mentally ill. Browns are terrorists, illegal immigrants, or both. Blacks are thugs. Asians are too many. Putin became a war criminal and is turning into Hitler. Conservatives and white supremacists don't know what to do about their secret love for the white boy. Some conservatives are dumb enough to blame Ukraine, or even imply that the war is fake. The only recourse for white supremacists is to expel Putin from the sacred white race. Return to office: a blessing for mediocre employees

Post-COVID Return to Office: meritocracy of mediocrity  The post-COVID Return to Office (RTO) transition brings great employment opportunities for mediocre employees.  Many top performers want to keep the productive freedom discovered during the COVID pandemic. Top performers treasure the freedom of working from anywhere, and are good enough to find jobs that allow that.  That leaves management stuck in the office with leftover mediocre employees.  TakeSlap offers spicy food for thought.
