Underpromise

Trademarketing is what we call the art and science of marketing your trade. This is taking your trade (combo of products and services) to the market for trade. It is perhaps the same thing as marketing, but we call it trademarketing as a way of remembering that business is all about trading.

The purpose of your business should be to trade solutions. These solutions take the form of "goods" (products and services). These goods are exchanged for money or other valuable and legal consideration. To succeed in business, the needs of your clients should always come first. However, your clients will have unlimited needs and wants. Your clients may have unreasonable expectations and be irrational creatures as most humans.

Even though your business can have an unlimited product line, to ensure customer satisfaction, focus on discreet segments within your product line. Look to satisfy very specific and niche needs in the marketplace. Looks for precise and specific service dots plotted on the endless place of customer needs and and your unlimited product line.

Your business should focus on a niche segment of your client needs. Again, the needs of your clients come first and should be the compass of your business. But since your clients will have unlimited needs and wants, your business should focus on discreet segments to be served well one transaction at a time.

You won't be able to satisfy the endless needs and unlimited wants of your clients. Minimize expectations and deliver concrete results for a profitable price. Under promise and over deliver. Never the other way around.

Do not lose money trying to please clients. In essence, humans are insatiable and impossible to please. Unless your prices can cover costs and render profits, you will end up broke trying to satisfy the endless needs and unlimited wants of your clients. You can only do what the overall market and macro economic conditions allow you to do. Do not offer miracles that you cannot fulfill. Instead, under promise and strive to over deliver on that deliberate under promise.

Is Putin white?

[This post was updated on May 6, 2020.] Is Putin white?  Conservatives and white supremacists are having a Putin problem these days. The standard convention is that the white race is good unless it is trash or mentally ill. Browns are terrorists, illegal immigrants, or both. Blacks are thugs. Asians are too many. Putin became a war criminal and is turning into Hitler. Conservatives and white supremacists don't know what to do about their secret love for the white boy. Some conservatives are dumb enough to blame Ukraine, or even imply that the war is fake. The only recourse for white supremacists is to expel Putin from the sacred white race. Return to office: a blessing for mediocre employees

Post-COVID Return to Office: meritocracy of mediocrity  The post-COVID Return to Office (RTO) transition brings great employment opportunities for mediocre employees.  Many top performers want to keep the productive freedom discovered during the COVID pandemic. Top performers treasure the freedom of working from anywhere, and are good enough to find jobs that allow that.  That leaves management stuck in the office with leftover mediocre employees.  TakeSlap offers spicy food for thought.
